encore provides information that connects ILM to southeastern NC. With our community, we cover music, film, theatre, dining, nonprofits, humanities, and happenings across the Cape Fear and North Carolina.
Our mission is to broaden media literacy and civic engagement, protect and promote trustworthy community journalism, and champion the creative arts.
We strive to build power among individuals with tools and resources to critically engage with media, support meaningful connections between local businesses and residents, and amplify the voices that shape our vibrant, artistic community.
