Waterline Brewing was packed inside and out at August 30th's Songs of Peace event. The fundraiser for Encore operations and Wilmington Peace Festival featured five musical acts singing only songs of peace, including The Port City Ukuholics, Jesse Stockton, Jesse James DeConto (The Pinkerton Raid) Kelly Zullo, and Nate Gerry.
In addition to music, tables of interactive art and poetry, Songs of Peace featured uplifting words from speakers that represent community in practically every sense of the word:
