Voracious: Cellar, Sea, and Shore Brings Wilmington a Night of Flavor, Community, and Cause
Wilmington, NC — October 1, 2026 — Wilmington’s riverfront will come alive this fall with the return of Voracious: Cellar, Sea, and Shore, an evening of indulgence showcasing craft beer, fine wines, and gourmet bites in support of a vital local cause. The event takes place Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Live Oak Pavilion at Riverfront Park, setting the stage for a weekend of celebration leading into the Lighthouse Beer and Wine Festival.Voracious is more than a food and drink tasting—it’s an experience that blends Wilmington’s vibrant culinary scene with the coastal charm of the Cape Fear River at the Live Oak Pavilion. Guests will enjoy:Curated Craft Beers: Featuring breweries from Wilmington and across the state, pouring unique specialty selections.
World-Class Wines: Full bars offering hand-picked wines ranging from boutique vineyards to crowd favorites, including white wine, red wine, and a sparkling wine bar!
Fresh Coastal Fare: Oysters, seafood, and gourmet dishes prepared by talented local chefs, celebrating both the sea and the shore. We’re also featuring live cooking on Kamado Joe Grills, adding another layer of spectacular!
Live Entertainment: Local musicians providing the soundtrack to a lively and sophisticated evening under the lights and stars.

A Festival with a Purpose
Proceeds from Voracious benefit the Carousel Center Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children in southeastern North Carolina who have suffered abuse or neglect. Funds raised help provide therapy, forensic services, and family support, ensuring vulnerable children find safety, healing, and justice.
Kickoff to Festival Weekend
Voracious is the official opening night of the Lighthouse Beer and Wine Festival, one of the largest beer and wine festivals in the Southeast. The Saturday event (October 18, 2025) will feature hundreds of craft breweries and wineries at Riverfront Park, drawing thousands of visitors to Wilmington for a weekend filled with flavor and community.
